Lava Canyon to the Swinging bridge, or drive to the Lahar Viewpoint to witness a
breathtaking view of Mount St. Helens. all of this within just a few miles of Swift

Pre-registered riders who have registered by July 21 will receive their tee shirt
the day of the ride. Riders registering after July 21 or on the day of the ride
will receive a tee shirts from the sizes that remain.  Ride packets for all
registrants will be at Swift Forest Camp on ride day. There is late fee of $5 for
late registrations.
Day-of-ride registration is open from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Refund Policy

We do not give refunds, but riders may give their Pedal the Pinchot
registration to others. New riders must go to the registration area on ride
day and sign a new ride waiver and hold harmless form.

Remember to Car Pool

A $4.00 per vehicle day use fee will be charged by Pacific Corporation to park at Swift Forest Camp

You can also print out a register form and register through the mail. Complete the registration form (available soon) and return it with your $40 registration fee. Be sure to sign the waiver. No riders will be permitted to ride without a signed waiver. We will not be mailing ride packets prior to the ride. Pre-registered riders who have registered by July 10 will receive their tee shirt the day of the ride. Riders registering the day of the ride will receive their tee shirts in the mail. The $8 Monument Pass Recreation Fee normally required at some viewpoints on Forest Road 99 will be included as part of the $40 registration packet. Only riders identified with a rider number and identified volunteers will be allowed at sites free of charge on July 28, 2007.

Start/Finish

The ride starts and finishes at Swift Forest Camp, 17 miles east of Cougar, WA. Click here for a map to Swift campground. The start line is open at 6:00 a.m., the finish line closes at 6:00 p.m. A lunch will be served at Swift Forest Camp from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Lunch is included in your entry fee (Hamburger, Veggie Burger, bake beans and other food goodies!)

Support

The road bike routes are open highway rides. These routes will be monitored and riders will be alerted to danger. Routes are on National Forest Roads that offer magnificent scenery but are also narrow and winding in many places. Riders will follow all Forest Road Rules. There are frequent pit stops stocked with food, fruit, beverages and facilities for registered riders.
